ELS (Bio) Reptiles & Amphibians: A pocket guide to familiar North American Species
Subject Ecology Environmental Literacy MWEE Science
From tiny tree frogs and salamanders, to massive alligators and crocodiles, North America is home to over 900 reptiles and 300 amphibian species. A perfect take-along guide for budding and experienced nature enthusiasts, the color illustrations and brief descriptions help users learn the key distinguishing features to identify more commonly found frogs, toads, lizards, snakes, alligator and turtles. This guide is an excellent source of portable information and ideal for field use by novices and experts alike.

There are four components of the MWEE Stream Study Kit: chemical, biological, climate/weather and soils. Each part has various equipment and testing devices designed to complement your classroom lessons. It would be wise to borrow related equipment and gather as much data as possible per site visit. For example, borrowing the chemical and biological components together would allow for an enhanced experience at a water-based site.
