What is an EnviroScape?

It is a molded plastic model of a watershed complete with various types of land use including residential, transportation, agricultural, construction, recreation and forestry areas. 

Purpose of EnviroScape

The purpose of the Enviroscape is to demonstrate how water pollution can result from a variety of activities and sources in our own backyards and neighborhoods, and how the pollution can impact our water resources. 

IMPORTANT NOTES: PLEASE READ!

  • Please only reserve the amount of items needed for your students.
  • Items will be delivered and picked up by the BCIU delivery service and will be subject to their established delivery schedule and district building pickup and drop-off locations.
  • Items can be borrowed for a maximum of one week (extensions can be requested).
  • Please complete this reservation form AT LEAST one week prior to requesting date. We will do our best to honor request dates, but know this will be dependent on availability and staffing. We cannot guarantee delivery dates for requests that are submitted at the last minute.
  • Please note: There is a $40 BCIU delivery fee for materials delivery to non-public schools. Non-public teachers are welcome to pick up materials at BCIU Main Office for no cost.
